| | about meMy name is Jessica. I'm 23 years old. I'm a 2007 graduate from the University of Washington (Sociology) and in the Fall of 2008 I'll be back at the UW for graduate school in Museum Studies. I love museums, and my long term career goal is to develop exhibits and public programming in a natural history and science museum. My hobbies include miscellaneous crafts, sewing bags and similar things, cooking, baking, interior design, remodeling, gardening, flyball, baseball, soccer, tennis, bowling, shopping, event planning, reading, eating, and photography. I've always been mature beyond my age, and I believe that I am trustworthy and a great friend. I'm outgoing, ambitious, impulsive, and impatient and I have a lot of plans and goals in my life. I love traveling, and my goal is to go on one major vacation each year. I like home & craft magazines, fabric, zoos and aquariums, owls, bright colors, sunshine, flowers, and tattoos. Right how I'm training for my first triathlon, which is really exciting and tough. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, Johnny, and we have a cat, Atari, and a dog, Harley. We all currently live in Wyoming while Johnny goes to school, and are preparing to head back to Seattle and possibly buy our first home.

| | about us Johnny and I met in the fall of 2001, and officially started dating December 6, 2001, when we were 16 years old. We were engaged on our 4th anniversary and married July 28, 2007. Our relationship is based on friendship, trust, compromise, communication and fun, and we believe our relationship is very balanced.

I am thinking it's a sign that the freckles in our eyes are mirror images and when we kiss they're perfectly aligned
And I have to speculate that God himself did make us into corresponding shapes like puzzle pieces from the clay
And true, it may seem like a stretch but its thoughts like this that catch my troubled head when you're away when I am missing you to death

| | about our petsWe adopted Atari Labor Day weekend of 2005. She was very young when she was found with a litter of kittens in our hometown. We've been told because she had kittens when she herself was essentially still a kitten, her growth was stunted so she's very small. Oftentimes, people mistake her for a kitten! She is extremely vocal, playful and will let her mood be known without hesitation. She enjoys sitting on shoulders, attacking without notice, sleeping in the sun, being talked to, and getting her ears rubbed. Oh, and she's got that only-child mentality and will not stand for anyone else getting attention when it could be her.
We adopted Harley on Valentine's Day 2008, after I visited the local animal shelter and couldn't leave him behind. He's likely a Border Collie-Labrador mix and is about 4 years old. He's extremely well-behaved and very smart. Harley is quick to pick up on commands and does anything to please us. He enjoys any and all attention given to him, the park, sunshine, rolling in the grass, car rides, other animals, and being brushed. He's currently learning flyball with me, and I just got my own set of jumps to practice with him. He loves Atari, but stays out of her way because she despises him.
